a busy month
June 2012 was a busy month for no mountain too high and one that will leave a permanent impression and impact on us. We want to thank everyone, and especially our donors, for supporting our cause.
- During the first three weeks of June, 2012, no mountain too high attempted to summit Mt. Denali in Alaska. Adverse weather made us stop short of the summit, but there were plenty other adventures to spice the trip up (avalanches, white outs, deaths, injuries, altitude sickness, 100+ km/h winds, -30 Celsius, etc.). The pictures are visible here.
- Immediately after their mountain climbing expedition, in the last week of June, 2012, no mountain too high went to Pakistan where it visited Akhuwat, the microfinance organization it donates money too. The pictures of the story behind Akhuwat and its borrowers can be found here.
We thank all of you who donated to no mountain too high for their support, and hope for your -and others'- continued support! 100% of your donations have reached the hands of Pakistani microentrepreneurs.
All the best,
Roman and Jelmer David
